San Francisco Volvo Presents Overseas Delivery

McKevitt Volvo, a leading San Francisco Overseas Volvo dealer, is pleased to announce the launch of the Volvo Overseas Delivery program.  The program offers Bay Area residents who purchase any new Volvo as part of the Volvo Overseas Delivery Program a unique European vacation and delivery of their vehicle in Europe at the same time.

Consumers who purchase their car overseas and pick it up in Volvo’s Gothenburg, Sweden plant are treated to an extraordinary experience at the Factory Delivery Center in Gothenburg, Sweden.  This San Francisco Overseas Volvo dealer provides complimentary Swedish meatball lunch, an exciting Volvo factory tour, a visit to the Volvo Cars Brand Experience Center or a visit to the Volvo Museum.

Also included with pickup at the Gothenburg plant is fifteen days of complimentary European Car Insurance coverage, including Swedish temporary registration, U.S. Customs Duty, port clearance fees and inland transportation to McKevitt Volvo.   The 15 days of insurance and registration are provided free of charge, and the customer can pay for additional registration and insurance for up to 6 months.  Additional authorized European pick up locations are available, but may not include all of the same options as the Gothenburg pickup.

Volvo’s Overseas Delivery department also has special vacation packages that are available if consumers chose to transform their overseas trip into an official sight-seeing vacation.  A sampling of vacation options available in the Overseas Delivery program include golfing in Scotland or Sweden, a 4 or 7 day touring trip of some of Sweden’s finest attractions, a 7 day adventure to the forests of Smaland- an area of Sweden best known for its exhilarating glasswork, and others.

There are also special programs available for military members stationed abroad, diplomats, and expatriates.  For those who choose pick up at the Gothenburg location, when the vacation is completed, they simply return the car to Gothenburg and it will then be shipped back to McKevitt Volvo in California, the leading San Francisco Overseas Volvo dealer.

Additional advantages of the overseas program include the opportunity approximately eight percent savings (varies by model) off the U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price on U.S. model Volvos and an expanded selection color combinations and vehicle options.
