I have been bringing my 04 V70 to these guys since I bought it from Broadway VW in 2005 and I have nothing but praise for the entire crew.  Every single employee in the service department has been extremely courteous to me EVERY SINGLE TIME I have called or set foot in their place.  Seriously, I had no confidence in car dealerships’ service departments after dealing with years of Ford and Jeep/Chrysler dealerships (Falore Serramonte was good to me but I never felt the satisfaction that I have found with McKevitt Berkeley…)  Always had a bad taste in my mouth when servicing my Jeep at Connell on Broadway, Oakland…)

They have earned a loyal customer with me and I hope that when I am in the market for a new car, it will be a Volvo… and I will buy it at McKevitt.

I especially want to send my thanks to A.K. in service, Drew in the shop, both Pauls in service.  But I have never had a bad experience with any of you.  Cheers!

Years ago, I got this used S70 …. I never wanted a Volvo, but when hubby said he would pay for it so I  ”would be safer”, how could I argue with that?

The car now has over 137,000 miles and has just hit it’s teenage years. I started out using the Volvo service in San Leandro and grew to appreciate Collin Deans the service rep.  there.  He was always honest about the work needed and the costs involved.   I have now followed him to the Berkeley Volvo service!

Colin always calls when he says he will, gets me used parts when I ask for them and basically takes care of everything — good care of me and my car.
